Wilmington, OH – The Ohio Valley is set to experience a break from the heat as a cold front passes through the region. The National Weather Service in Wilmington, OH reports that today will be mostly dry with a few isolated showers and thunderstorms.

According to the National Weather Service, the cold front will bring less humid conditions on Friday and Saturday, providing a welcome relief. Dew points are expected to drop into the mid-50s, making the air feel much more comfortable. Highs will be in the low 80s on Friday and mid-80s on Saturday with sunny skies.

However, this reprieve will be short-lived. By Sunday, the humidity will start to return, along with increased chances of rain. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to resume Sunday and continue into midweek. Dew points will climb back into the 70s, creating a more humid and sticky environment.

The forecast for the beginning of next week includes highs in the low to mid-80s with daily chances of thunderstorms. Monday and Tuesday have a 55% and 50% chance of rain, respectively, with temperatures peaking around 84°F.
