Louisville, KY – Kentucky residents should prepare for a week marked by scattered thunderstorms and showers, as predicted by the US National Weather Service in Louisville. Although no single day is expected to be completely rained out, the persistent nature of the precipitation may lead to localized flooding, particularly in southern Kentucky.

According to the weather service, today’s temperatures are expected to reach between 82°F and 86°F, with scattered thunderstorms throughout the day. Tonight, isolated thunderstorms may occur, with temperatures dropping to between 64°F and 71°F. The forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday remains similar, with highs between 81°F and 87°F and continued chances of scattered thunderstorms.

Thursday will also see scattered thunderstorms, with temperatures ranging from 80°F to 86°F. The potential for localized flash flooding remains, particularly in southern Kentucky, where storms are expected to be more persistent.

Residents are advised to stay informed about weather conditions and be prepared for possible disruptions due to flooding. While extended periods of dry weather are anticipated between the waves of precipitation, the overall outlook suggests a wet and stormy week ahead.

High temperatures will consistently remain in the 80s, providing seasonably warm weather, while overnight lows will hover in the upper 60s to around 70. This pattern underscores the need for vigilance and preparedness as Kentucky navigates through a period of unsettled weather.
