Detroit, MI – Southeastern Michigan will experience seasonable temperatures in the low to mid-80s this week, with pop-up showers and thunderstorms expected today and tomorrow. More significant showers and thunderstorms are anticipated on Wednesday as a cold front moves through the region.

According to the US National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac, today’s high temperatures will reach the low to mid-80s across southeastern Michigan. Cities such as Flint and Howell are forecast to reach 83°F and 82°F, respectively, while Detroit will see a high of 84°F. These temperatures will be accompanied by potential thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and evening.

Tuesday’s forecast indicates similar high temperatures, with Ann Arbor expected to reach 84°F and Monroe at 82°F. The probability of precipitation remains moderate, with a 25% chance in the early morning, increasing to 40% by the afternoon.

Wednesday brings a higher likelihood of more widespread showers and thunderstorms as a cold front moves across the region. The National Weather Service predicts a 55% chance of precipitation by midday. Highs will remain in the low 80s, with Detroit expected to reach 82°F.
