Nashville, TN – Metropolitan Nashville Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the fatal shooting of Samuel L. Edwards Jr., 32, which occurred early Monday morning at an apartment complex on Buena Vista Pike.
According to the police, Edwards was visiting an acquaintance when an assailant followed him into the apartment and shot him once. He was promptly transported to Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries. The motive behind the shooting remains unclear at this time.
