Harrison Township, OH – Montgomery County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an early Friday morning shooting outside a Harrison Township bar that left one man dead and another critically injured.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at approximately 2:03 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2026, to Pregame Taphouse & Grill, located at 5202 N. Main Street, following reports of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found an adult man in the parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Deputies immediately began life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities said a short time later, a second individual arrived at a local hospital with a gunshot wound that investigators determined was connected to the same incident. That victim remains in critical condition.
According to investigators, the suspect fled the area before deputies arrived. No arrests have been announced, and authorities have not released a description of the suspect.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit is leading the investigation and is working to determine what led to the shooting.
