Greenville County, SC – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is asking for the public’s help after a pedestrian was killed in an early morning hit-and-run crash Wednesday in Greenville County.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 5:24 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2026, on SC-124 (Old Easley Highway) near Gethsemane Drive.
Investigators said an unknown vehicle traveling west on SC-124 struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision, and the driver left the scene before law enforcement arrived.
Authorities have not released the identity of the victim or any description of the suspect vehicle.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is actively investigating the fatal hit-and-run and is urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has information that could help identify the driver to come forward.
