Nashville, Tennessee – Easter Sunday travel across Tennessee is expected to remain steady, with near-normal temperatures and only spotty rain briefly impacting early holiday plans.

According to the National Weather Service, a stable pattern will hold across much of the Mid-South and Southeast through Wednesday night, keeping precipitation near to slightly below normal. Cities including Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga may see isolated light showers early Sunday between 5 a.m. and 9 a.m., but widespread rain is not expected.

Major corridors such as I-40, I-65, and I-24 should remain in good condition, with only brief wet pavement possible during passing showers. Visibility concerns will remain limited, especially compared to heavier rain zones farther east.

Temperatures will stay close to seasonal averages, offering comfortable conditions for Easter gatherings, church services, and outdoor egg hunts. Morning hours may feel slightly cool, but afternoon temperatures will support extended outdoor plans statewide.

Communities across Clarksville, Murfreesboro, and Johnson City will see extended dry periods through the holiday and into early next week.

This quiet pattern continues through midweek, with only occasional light rain chances returning and no major advisories expected at this time.
