Belknap County, NH Crash: 22-Year-Old Nashua Rider Dies on I-93

Meredith, NH – A 22-year-old Nashua man has died following a motorcycle crash on Interstate 93 in Meredith, according to New Hampshire State Police.

According to New Hampshire State Police, troopers assigned to the Troop D barracks responded at approximately 3:33 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, to a report of a motorcycle crash on Interstate 93 southbound.

Investigators said the rider was operating a red 2021 Honda CBR600RR when, for reasons that remain under investigation, the motorcycle veered off the roadway before the rider lost control. Police said the motorcycle then slid across the center median and into the tree line.

Authorities determined the crash had occurred hours before it was discovered and reported to emergency responders.

The motorcyclist was identified as Miguel Garcia Jr., 22, of Nashua. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Members of the New Hampton Fire Department assisted state police during the response and investigation.

Officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash. Troopers said all aspects of the incident remain under active investigation as they work to determine exactly what happened.

Anyone with information that could assist investigators is asked to contact Trooper Peter Cosakowski. State police are encouraging potential witnesses or anyone with relevant information about the crash to come forward.
