Nashville, TN – A major warming trend is expected across Middle Tennessee this week as temperatures climb into the upper 80s and low 90s heading into the weekend and early next week.
According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will bring sunny skies and pleasant conditions across the Nashville metro area with highs near 82 degrees. Southwest winds may gust up to 20 mph during the afternoon before calmer weather settles in Wednesday night.
Forecasters say clear skies and cooler overnight temperatures arrive Wednesday night with lows dropping near 51 degrees. Sunny weather continues Thursday with highs near 76 degrees and light north winds across much of Middle Tennessee.
Temperatures quickly rebound Friday as highs climb back into the low 80s under mostly sunny skies. A slight chance of overnight showers and thunderstorms develops late Friday into early Saturday as humidity levels begin increasing.
Saturday and Sunday will feel more like midsummer across Nashville, with highs expected near 90 degrees Saturday and around 91 degrees Sunday. Warm overnight lows in the upper 60s will continue through the weekend.
The hottest temperatures of the stretch could arrive Monday when highs approach 94 degrees across the Nashville area. Additional scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop Tuesday as a more active weather pattern returns to the region.
