Lockport, NY – A 16-year-old male from the City of Lockport has been arrested following a burglary investigation tied to a break-in at a local baseball club earlier this year, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.

The case stems from an incident reported in March at the ANJO Club baseball field on Davison Road, where property damage and theft were discovered.

According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau, the burglary occurred on March 11, 2026, when an unknown individual allegedly broke into both a snack shack and a garage on the property. Investigators said the suspect caused damage and stole a 4-wheeler during the incident.

Following what officials described as a thorough investigation, authorities identified and arrested a 16-year-old juvenile male in connection with the case on May 7, 2026.

The teen has been charged with multiple offenses, including third-degree burglary, third-degree grand larceny, third- and fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, and third-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Due to the suspect’s age, his identity has not been released. Officials said the juvenile was released to a parent and is expected to appear in Niagara County Youth Part Court at a later date.

The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details but noted that further information may be made available as appropriate.
