Green Bay, Wisconsin – Increasing clouds and steady southeast winds today will give way to a round of showers and thunderstorms Monday afternoon, with wet roads likely to impact travel across northeast Wisconsin by the evening commute.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, Sunday will remain partly to mostly cloudy with highs ranging from 57 to 68 degrees and southeast winds between 10 and 20 mph. Conditions stay dry through tonight before moisture increases Monday morning ahead of an approaching system.

Rain and thunderstorms are expected to develop after 3 p.m. Monday, spreading across cities including Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Manitowoc through the evening hours. Roads such as I-41, US-41, and Highway 29 may become slick, with reduced visibility during heavier downpours. While widespread severe weather is not indicated, isolated thunderstorms could produce brief gusty winds and heavier rain bursts.

Drivers should plan for slower travel Monday evening and allow extra time for commutes. Secure loose outdoor items ahead of the wind shift and keep mobile devices charged in case of isolated outages.
