According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and detectives responded around 7:20 a.m. Friday, April 17, to Whispering Oak Drive in Lexington regarding a 20-year-old woman suffering from multiple injuries. Authorities said she was located and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators then went to the woman’s residence at 556 Bryant Road, located nearby, to conduct a welfare check. At that location, deputies discovered a man identified as Michael Allen, 44, deceased inside the home. Officials said Allen was the homeowner, and his next of kin has been notified.
