Oklahoma wakes up dry and cool, but the air will not stay quiet for long. Sunlight spreads quickly across Tulsa this morning, and grasses already look brittle after days without rain. Winds remain light now, yet fire danger is elevated as temperatures surge later today.

According to the National Weather Service in Tulsa, a limited fire weather risk continues across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Warm and extremely dry conditions will support wildfire activity through this evening. The threat diminishes after sunset as humidity recovers.

Tulsa starts the day at 43 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Expect a fast warmup to 78 degrees by afternoon. Southwest winds increase to 5 to 10 mph, which can help flames spread if a fire ignites. Avoid outdoor burning and properly discard cigarettes.

Tonight turns mostly clear with a low near 52. Saturday climbs even warmer to 81 degrees, though a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms develops late. Storm chances increase Saturday night and especially Sunday, when highs cool to 66 degrees with a 50 percent rain chance.

By Monday, scattered showers linger with highs near 57. Tuesday rebounds to 67 with additional rain chances. Meteorologists are tracking a wetter pattern into midweek, with heavy rain potential by Wednesday.

The 6–10 day outlook favors above-normal temperatures returning after midweek, reinforcing early March spring vibes across Green Country.

Five Day Outlook for Tulsa, Oklahoma:

Today: Sunny, high 78
Saturday: Slight chance of storms, high 81
Sunday: Chance of showers, high 66
Monday: Chance of showers, high 57
Tuesday: Chance of showers, high 67
