CHANNAHON, IL — Residents of Hemlock Road were left shaken following a mid-day burglary, especially when two of the culprits were seen donning construction vests.

According to Channahon Police, it began shortly before 2 p.m. when a witness reported a broken glass door at a neighbors house and observed three men racing away from the property.

The swift escape of the trio, one in a stark contrast of black attire, triggered an immediate multi-agency response. As officers combed the area, Minooka Community High School’s South Campus was temporarily locked down as a safety measure.

The suspects, last seen in a silver mini-van, are still on the loose. Channahon Police are urging anyone with information to come forward by calling 815-467-2112.
