Rochester Hills, MI – Four Detroit men were arrested Thursday morning after allegedly leading Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle that ended in a crash in Rochester Hills.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 6 a.m. to the 1500 block of Pembroke following reports of individuals attempting to gain entry into parked vehicles. Deputies observed the suspects enter a vehicle, later confirmed to be stolen, and attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Officials said the driver fled at a high speed before losing control and crashing near the intersection of Livernois and Avon roads.

Authorities said the four suspects exited the vehicle and ran on foot. Deputies established a perimeter and deployed both K9 and drone units to search the area. All four suspects were located and taken into custody without incident.

Sheriff Michael J. Bouchard praised the coordinated effort, calling it an example of teamwork and the effective use of specialized resources. “Deputies, K9, and drone units worked seamlessly to quickly apprehend all four suspects,” Bouchard said in a statement. “We remain committed to holding those who victimize our residents accountable.”

The suspects, described as males in their early to mid-twenties, are being held at the Oakland County Jail pending formal charges from the Prosecutor’s Office. Detectives from the Auto Theft Unit and the Rochester Hills Division are continuing the investigation.
