Kankakee, IL – A 42-year-old man is wanted by local authorities in connection with an alleged aggravated battery and attempted murder case in Kankakee, Illinois.
According to a public advisory issued Thursday by the Kankakee Police Department, Adrian Moore is currently at large and considered armed and dangerous. Moore is described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with a stocky build.
Police allege that Moore is the subject of an active arrest warrant for his role in a violent incident. The department did not release specific details of the case but emphasized the seriousness of the charges and urged the public not to approach Moore under any circumstances.
The department posted Moore’s mugshot and case information on social media as part of their public outreach efforts. Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Moore’s whereabouts to immediately contact Kankakee Police Investigations at 815-933-0426 or the Kankakee County Crime Stoppers at 815-932-7463. In case of an immediate sighting, residents should call 911 or the Kankakee Police Department at 815-933-3321.
Officials are asking for the community’s cooperation while cautioning that Moore should not be confronted directly.
