Indianapolis, IN – Scattered showers will linger across the Indianapolis area through Monday night, but a sunny and warmer stretch of spring weather is just around the corner.

According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, light rain will continue through early Monday evening, with a 40% chance of additional showers mainly after 2 p.m. Cloud cover will hold temperatures to a cool 60°F. Winds will remain light, out of the east at around 6 mph.

Showers will taper by early Tuesday morning, and the city can expect gradual clearing throughout the day. Highs on Tuesday will reach 69°F with light west winds, setting the stage for a pleasant and dry midweek.

By Wednesday, Indianapolis will see mostly sunny skies and highs climbing into the low 70s. Breezy conditions will return Thursday, with gusts up to 20 mph, but no rain is expected through at least Friday.
