Los Angeles, CA – Thick fog is blanketing Los Angeles County this morning, making travel hazardous across major freeways and coastal areas. A Dense Fog Advisoryremains in effect until 9 a.m. Wednesday, with visibility reduced to a quarter-mile or less in some areas.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the advisory impacts Los Angeles County Beaches, Downtown L.A., and Malibu Coast, where drivers are urged to use caution. Authorities recommend using headlights, reducing speed, and allowing extra stopping distance due to low visibility conditions.

By late morning, the fog is expected to clear, giving way to mostly sunny skies with a high near 82°F. Wednesday night will be mostly clear, with lows dropping to around 59°F.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Thursday brings sunshine and highs in the upper 70s, while Friday remains dry with temperatures around 68°F. A slight chance of rainreturns by Saturday night and Sunday, with highs in the mid-60s.
