Elk Grove Village, IL – Authorities have launched a death investigation after a body was discovered in Busse Woods on Saturday morning. A motorist reportedly spotted a female lying near Higgins Road, about a mile west of Arlington Heights Road, around 9:30 a.m., according to Elk Grove Village police.
The Cook County Forest Preserve Police are leading the investigation, although details remain limited. Elk Grove Village police confirmed they have no active missing person reports linked to the incident and reassured residents there is no threat to the community.
