Milwaukee, WI – Severe storms are moving across Wisconsin, triggering tornado warnings and causing significant disruption. The storm system, which dumped 12 inches of rain in Minnesota earlier today, is now tracking east southeast toward east central Wisconsin.

According to the US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan, the storms are traveling at 50-60 mph and are expected to impact Fond du Lac and Sheboygan Counties between 4:30 and 6 a.m. If the storm’s trajectory shifts southward, Dodge, Washington, and Ozaukee Counties may also be affected. The primary concern is damaging winds, as strong gusts could reach the surface. Locations from Wisconsin Dells to Madison and Milwaukee are currently less likely to see these storms.

In a related development, the US National Weather Service Green Bay had issued a tornado warning for Oconto Falls, Legend Lake, and Bonduel until 3 a.m. Tuesday. Radar indicated the presence of funnel clouds, prompting the warning. Residents are advised to take cover as pea-sized hail and strong winds pose additional threats.
