Milwaukee Experiences Record Warmth and Rainfall in Spring 2024

Milwaukee, WI – Spring 2024 saw an unusual shift in Milwaukee’s weather, marking the third warmest and third wettest spring on record.

According to the US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan, the average temperature this spring was 50.2°F, a 3.6°F increase from the norm. The season’s highest temperature hit 84°F on May 12, while the lowest was 24°F on March 21.

Precipitation reached 15.82 inches, exceeding the average by 6.22 inches, with a total snowfall of 8.7 inches, slightly below the normal 8.8 inches. This significant change reflects broader climate trends affecting the region.
