This weekend, for the first time in 11 years since the National Aeronautics and Space Association retired the space shuttle fleet, a rocket will attempt to launch from the U.S. soil of Cape Canaveral, Florida this Saturday afternoon carrying two astronauts into orbit and delivering them safely to the International Space Station.
