Yorkville, IL – A 25-year-old Yorkville man was arrested Thursday on multiple felony charges involving minors. The Yorkville Police Department charged Trevor Minogue, of the 2600 block of Fairfax Way, with two alleged counts each of traveling to meet a minor, indecent solicitation of a child, and aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

According to Yorkville Police, the charges stem from two reported investigations. The first began December 12 after a delayed report of an alleged sexual assault on August 30 involving Minogue and a minor on East Veterans Parkway. Police confirmed Minogue worked as a substitute teacher with Yorkville Community Unit School District 115 but had limited student contact. He has not worked in schools since December 9.

Police arrested Minogue Thursday at a Route 71 location during a second investigation. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Kendall County Jail.

Officials say there is no evidence of additional victims but are continuing to investigate. Minogue remains in custody pending a court appearance Friday.
