York, PA – Pennsylvania State Police Troop J – York Station is searching for Michael McClearn, 31, of Red Lion, after he allegedly fled a traffic stop in Lower Windsor Township early Thursday morning.

According to the Lower Windsor Township Police Department, officers stopped a 2014 Subaru Impreza with Delaware plates around 12:58 a.m. on October 23, 2025. Police say McClearn allegedly pushed another person from the vehicle and fled the scene. Officers did not pursue, but later found his backpack containing loose ammunition near the stop. Authorities said a firearm was also believed to be inside the car.

The Subaru was later located with additional crash damage, suggesting McClearn may have wrecked the vehicle while escaping.

Investigators believe he is in the Red Lion or Chanceford Township area and may be traveling as a passenger in a blue or green older-model Ford Ranger.

McClearn currently has multiple active warrants from state and local law enforcement, including simple assault, harassment, and theft.

Anyone with information on McClearn’s whereabouts is urged to contact the PSP York Station at (717) 428-1011.
