Prescott Valley, AZ – Parents and caregivers in Yavapai County can get peace of mind this week during a free child car seat inspection event hosted by the Arizona Department of Public Safety (AZDPS). The event takes place Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Park Collective, 7450 E Paw Way, Prescott Valley.

According to AZDPS, the event is a collaborative effort with the Prescott Valley Police Department, Central Arizona Fire and Medical, and Park Collective. Certified safety technicians will be on-site to ensure that children’s car seats are properly installed and meet current safety standards.

The inspection service is completely free and does not require registration. Technicians will provide one-on-one assistance, helping families make any needed adjustments to improve child passenger safety.

Parents are encouraged to stop by anytime during event hours for a personalized inspection and to ask questions about car seat installation and age-appropriate safety practices.
