Wyoming Weather Alert: Hot Start to the Week, Significant Cool Down by Thursday

Cheyenne, WY – Wyoming residents can expect warm temperatures to continue through Tuesday, according to the US National Weather Service in Cheyenne. A slight cool down is forecasted to begin on Wednesday.

Monday’s weather will bring a mix of sunshine and showers, with thunderstorms possible across the Laramie Range and adjacent foothills. Temperatures on Monday will range from 87 to 96 degrees east of I-25 and 87 to 91 degrees west of I-25.

According to the weather service, better chances for precipitation are expected area-wide on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday’s temperatures will be slightly higher, reaching 88 to 97 degrees east of I-25 and 88 to 95 degrees west of I-25.

A larger cool down is anticipated by Thursday, bringing relief from the heat. Wednesday’s forecast predicts temperatures of 82 to 97 degrees east of I-25 and 86 to 90 degrees west of I-25. The cool down is expected to bring more comfortable weather conditions for the latter part of the week.
