Investigators reported seizing 5.43 pounds (2.46 kilograms) of methamphetamine, 38.4 grams of heroin, 17 grams of psilocybin, a Jennings .22 handgun, $29,659 in U.S. currency and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Anna Marie Viruet-North was charged with allegedly trafficking in opium/heroin (fentanyl) by possession, trafficking in methamphetamine by possession, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of psilocybin and possession of a firearm by a felon. She is currently in custody at the Washington County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office, authorities said.
BCSO District 2 Captain Christopher Stockton stated the seizure represents more than 10,000 dosage units removed from the Woodfin community. Sheriff Quentin Miller said the operation reflects ongoing collaboration between state and local agencies to dismantle drug trafficking networks.
