Woman’s Body Found in Illinois River Identified

Peoria, IL – Authorities have identified the woman found in the Illinois River on Friday as Seiarra DeLasso, 37, of Peoria.

According to the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office, the coroner confirmed DeLasso’s identity and is seeking the public’s assistance in tracing her recent whereabouts. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death.
