Green Bay, WI – Snowfall continues to create hazardous conditions across Wisconsin, with a Winter Storm Warning in effect until early Friday morning. Motorists are urged to exercise caution on highways as slippery roadways and gusty winds persist.

According to the National Weather Service, the warning covers areas including Manitowoc, Door, and Kewaunee Counties, where snow accumulations could reach up to four inches. Commuters should expect challenging travel conditions, particularly during the Friday morning rush hour.

This storm also impacts Winnebago, Brown, and Calumet Counties, with an additional one to three inches of snow expected. Winds up to 25-35 mph could lead to blowing snow, further reducing visibility on roadways like Highway 41. Drivers should keep an emergency kit in their vehicles and check road conditions through 511 services.

Looking ahead, snow is expected to taper off by Friday afternoon, but temperatures will remain below freezing into the weekend. A mix of sunshine and clouds is predicted Saturday, with highs near 25°F. Sunday brings a chance of light snow flurries, but no significant accumulations are expected.

Prepare for freezing temperatures next week, as Monday and Tuesday lows could dip into the single digits. Take precautions to protect exposed pipes and limit time outdoors during peak cold periods.
