Green Bay, Wis. – Northeast Wisconsin will see a warm and mostly quiet weekend as temperatures climb into the low 80s, unusual for mid-September. Drivers east of Green Bay could run into wet roads early Saturday as lingering showers move out by sunrise, giving way to partly cloudy skies and improving conditions.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, both Saturday and Sunday mornings may bring patchy fog, some of it locally dense, especially in low-lying areas and near waterways. The fog should lift shortly after sunrise, but commuters and early travelers are urged to slow down and use headlights if visibility drops.

Afternoon highs will range from 71 to 81 degrees Saturday, and 71 to 83 degrees Sunday, with plenty of sunshine making Sunday the warmer of the two days. Outdoor plans, football games, and late-summer yard work should go uninterrupted once morning fog clears.

Conditions are expected to stay mild into early next week, with no widespread storm systems on the horizon.
