Milwaukee, WI – Drivers should prepare for potentially slick conditions tonight as light snow and freezing temperatures move into the area. With flurries expected to develop after 3 p.m., roads—particularly north of Interstate 94—could become hazardous.

According to the National Weather Service, Milwaukee will see a high near 35 degrees today, followed by sharply dropping temperatures overnight. Winds of 10 to 15 mph will bring wind chills close to zero, increasing risks for icy patches on untreated surfaces. Residents are urged to drive cautiously and allow extra travel time this evening.

Sunday will remain chilly, with highs only reaching 26 degrees. Wind chills could fall below zero in the morning, making outdoor activities uncomfortable. Despite sunny skies, conditions will remain breezy.

Monday marks a shift in the weather pattern, with temperatures climbing to the upper 30s to near 40 degrees. Winds from the west could gust up to 35 mph, but conditions will remain dry. By Tuesday, Milwaukee could see highs approaching 40 again, offering a welcome reprieve from the weekend’s freezing conditions.

Looking ahead to midweek, the forecast shows partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-30s on Wednesday. No significant precipitation is expected, making it an ideal time for any outdoor errands.

For now, the focus remains on tonight’s freezing temperatures and flurries. Milwaukee drivers are encouraged to monitor conditions and plan ahead for safe travel.
