Milwaukee, WI – A strong cold front sweeping through Wisconsin today brings gusty winds up to 40 mph, with temperatures reaching around 50°F by mid-morning before dipping as the day progresses. Residents should prepare for blustery conditions that could impact travel and outdoor events on Veterans Day.

According to the US National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan, northwesterly winds will persist through this afternoon, creating cooler, dry weather across east-central Wisconsin. Winds are forecast to ease tonight as skies remain partly cloudy, with lows dropping to 36°F.

Looking ahead, Tuesday promises sunny weather with highs near 49°F and a milder breeze from the southeast at 10 mph. By Tuesday night, clouds will move in as south winds strengthen to 15 mph. Wednesday marks a shift as rain chances climb to 40%, particularly during the afternoon. Winds from the south-southwest could reach 15 mph, and nighttime rainfall is expected to peak at a 70% chance, with temperatures holding steady at 43°F.

Thursday offers partial clearing with a slight chance of early showers before noon and highs near 54°F. Conditions will dry out into Thursday night as west winds taper to 5 mph, leading into a sunny and pleasant Friday with highs reaching 57°F.

Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor items today and exercise caution when traveling on roadways, especially near highways and open areas.
