Milwaukee, WI – A wind advisory remains in effect for southeastern Wisconsin, including Milwaukee, Kenosha, and Waukesha, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. CST Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

The advisory warns of west winds between 20 and 25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 45 mph and isolated instances of 50 mph. Counties impacted include Sheboygan, Ozaukee, Racine, and Walworth, among others.

Officials caution that strong winds may blow around unsecured objects, down tree limbs, and potentially cause localized power outages. The hazardous conditions could make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles traveling along open roads.

Residents are urged to secure outdoor items, remain cautious while driving, and prepare for possible power disruptions. High-profile vehicles should exercise extra caution when traveling through exposed areas.

This advisory follows similar weather patterns seen earlier this winter, as Wisconsin experiences an active season for wind events. Wind conditions are expected to ease after 6 p.m. Monday. For updates, visit weather.gov or check local advisories.
