Green Bay, WI — Subzero temperatures gripped Green Bay Friday morning, as residents woke to wind chills as low as -15°F. Relief is coming as temperatures rise above zero this afternoon, setting the stage for a warming trend this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will be partly sunny with highs near 35°F. A slight chance of rain or snow arrives by late afternoon, with wind gusts up to 21 mph. Plan evening travel carefully, as Saturday night brings an 80% chance of rain and snow, particularly on major roads like I-43. Precipitation is not expected to accumulate significantly, but roads may become slick as temperatures hover near freezing.

Sunday will remain cloudy with a high of 42°F and potential for rain overnight. Monday brings the warmest day of the week, with highs reaching 43°F and widespread rain likely by the afternoon. By Monday night, temperatures drop back into the 20s, bringing a chance for more rain and potentially icy conditions.

Looking ahead, Tuesday and Wednesday will feature cooler, dry weather, with highs in the low 30s under partly sunny skies.

Residents should dress warmly on Friday and remain cautious during the wet weather expected later this weekend. Plan outdoor activities early Saturday to avoid disruptions from the incoming storm system.

Be sure to monitor local forecasts and drive safely as winter weather impacts road conditions.
