Residents should prepare for high heat indices reaching the upper 90s on Wednesday, with a few locations potentially experiencing triple-digit temperatures. The weather service warns that some storms could become strong to severe.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s temperatures will range from 80 to 86 degrees with a 30% chance of scattered storms. Tonight, temperatures are expected to drop to between 63 and 68 degrees, with a 10% chance of storms.

Tuesday’s forecast predicts warm and humid conditions, with highs between 83 and 89 degrees and a 25% chance of storms. Tuesday night will see temperatures fall to 62 to 72 degrees, accompanied by a 30% chance of storms.

Wednesday is expected to be very warm and humid, with temperatures ranging from 84 to 91 degrees and a 40% chance of storms. Heat indices will be particularly high, potentially reaching triple digits.
