Green Bay, Wisconsin – Thunderstorms and lingering wildfire smoke could disrupt the morning commute Wednesday, July 30th, across northeast Wisconsin, including the Green Bay metro area.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, a 20 percent chance of showers and isolated thunderstorms will persist through mid-morning Wednesday. Areas of smoke are expected before 9 a.m., potentially lowering visibility along key routes such as U.S. Highway 41 and State Route 172.
