Green Bay, Wis. – Central and Northeast Wisconsin will see on-and-off thunderstorms nearly every day through Wednesday, with temperatures climbing into the mid-80s by early next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, the region will experience seasonable temperatures through the weekend, with daily highs in the mid to upper 70s. Thunderstorm chances begin Friday night, taper briefly Sunday, and return in force Monday through Wednesday—driven by a humid midweek air mass. While not every location will see rain, scattered showers and storms are likely across much of the area.

Cities like Appleton, Wausau, and Stevens Point could reach 87°F by Wednesday, while humidity will increase noticeably by Tuesday. Rainfall could affect morning and evening commutes, particularly on highways like I-41 and US-51. Drivers should watch for ponding on roads and slow travel during downpours.

Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor plans, keep devices charged, and prepare for localized heavy rain or brief gusty winds. While no widespread severe threat is currently forecast, conditions may evolve quickly with each passing system.

Rain chances remain elevated through Thursday, with potential for additional advisories early next week.
