Green Bay, WI – Mild temperatures in the upper 40s to near 60 degrees are setting up a pleasant start to the weekend before a late shift brings rain and snow chances into Sunday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, Friday will see highs between 44 and 52 degrees under partly cloudy skies with light winds. Warmer air builds Saturday, pushing highs into the 40s to near 60 degrees ahead of an approaching cold front.
Cities including Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, and Manitowoc will remain dry through most of Saturday, making for favorable outdoor conditions. However, by late Saturday night, a 30% chance of precipitation develops as the front moves in.
By early Sunday morning, colder air may allow rain to mix with snow, especially in northern and inland areas. While significant accumulation is not expected, roads such as I-41 and Highway 29 could become briefly slick during the transition period.
Conditions turn cooler Sunday, with highs dropping into the 30s and 40s before drier weather returns Monday. Additional updates may be issued if precipitation chances increase late Saturday night.
