Green Bay, Wisconsin – Drivers across northeast Wisconsin should brace for strong thunderstorms and gusty winds by midday Friday, July 25th, especially along highways like I-41 and US-141. The National Weather Service warns of possible heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts near 20 mph as showers develop late Friday morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, a band of thunderstorms is expected to roll in between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friday, followed by additional chances through the early afternoon. Highs will climb to 83°F, with sticky humidity and wind gusts making outdoor plans potentially hazardous. Localized flooding and wind damage are possible, and residents are encouraged to report any storm impacts directly to the NWS.

Friday night brings a continued 20% chance of showers after 1 a.m., though skies will begin to clear. Saturday brings another round of storms, mainly after 1 p.m., with a high of 84°F. While Sunday looks hot and dry with a high near 91°F, Monday night brings the next round of storms.

Travelers should avoid unnecessary road trips during active storm hours and secure outdoor items ahead of gusty conditions.
