Green Bay, WI – Residents of Green Bay and surrounding areas should brace for unpredictable weather as spring storms move in this week.

Starting Monday, a mix of rain, snow, and strong winds is expected to disrupt travel and daily activities. Winds will gust between 35 and 45 mph, especially in central and northeastern Wisconsin, lasting into Monday night. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a warning for hazardous travel, particularly over Vilas and northern Forest counties, where light snow may accumulate.

As the week progresses, the weather will remain volatile. A chance of snow showers with gusty winds is forecasted for Tuesday morning, leading to reduced visibility and hazardous road conditions. Northwest winds of 16 to 20 mph will make driving tricky, especially in the late afternoon when gusts could reach 24 mph.

Additionally, Wednesday will bring elevated fire weather conditions across Green Bay due to low humidity levels between 25% and 35%, posing a fire risk. The rest of the week will see fluctuating temperatures, with another round of spring showers expected on Thursday and Friday.

For the most part, temperatures will hover in the 50s, with highs around 56ยฐF. Overnight lows will dip into the 30s, particularly Wednesday and Thursday nights, with frost possible. Travelers should remain alert to rapidly changing conditions and take necessary precautions.
