Green Bay, WI – A winter storm is set to bring snow back to Green Bay this weekend, making travel conditions hazardous. Residents should prepare for slippery roads and reduced visibility starting Saturday night.

According to the National Weather Service, Green Bay will see a mix of clouds and mild temperatures through Friday before snow arrives. Thursday will be sunny with a high of 52°F, followed by a cooler Friday at 36°F. By Saturday, temperatures will drop to 33°F, with snow likely beginning late at night and continuing into Sunday.

Winds will shift south on Thursday at 16 mph before calming Friday. However, as the system approaches, gusts could increase, making roads slick. Saturday’s snowfall may impact I-41 and local highways, so drivers should check conditions before heading out.

Sunday’s high will reach 43°F, meaning some snow could melt, but refreezing overnight is possible. With lows dipping to 19°F, icy patches may form on roads and sidewalks.
