Milwaukee residents should prepare for a chilly start to the week, with snow chances increasing by Monday night and into midweek. Temperatures will remain below freezing, with lows dropping into the teens and highs struggling to reach the 30s.

According to the National Weather Service, Monday will be sunny with a high near 30°F, but a 30% chance of snow moves in after midnight. Tuesday will bring partly sunny skies with a high of 20°F, while Tuesday night sees lows near 10°F. Snow chances increase by Wednesday, with a 50% likelihood of snowfall overnight and temperatures hovering around 25°F during the day.

Drivers should remain cautious, especially on major roadways like I-94 and I-43, as snow and icy conditions could impact commutes. Winds from the northwest will range from 5 to 15 mph, contributing to colder wind chills.

By Thursday, conditions may improve, though lingering snow showers remain possible. Residents should monitor weather updates and dress in layers to combat the freezing temperatures.
