Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Showers return Thursday to southeast Wisconsin, bringing daily rain chances and slick roads for Milwaukee commuters through Saturday.

According to the National Weather Service, light rain will begin early Thursday and continue through the afternoon with embedded thunderstorms possible by nightfall. Areas along I-94 and I-43 may see reduced visibility and ponding on roads, especially during evening drive times. The region will see up to half an inch of rainfall each day through Friday.

Storms are not expected to be severe, but persistent moisture could lead to localized flooding, particularly in low-lying areas or near drainage systems. Thursday’s high will reach 52°F, followed by cooler and cloudy weather Friday. Winds will shift northwest Friday afternoon, with a high near 55°F.

Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Kenosha will all feel the wet pattern linger through Saturday, which should dry out by afternoon. Saturday brings sunshine and highs in the mid-50s. Residents should avoid unnecessary travel during downpours, secure outdoor items, and check storm drains for blockages.
