Green Bay, Wisconsin – Drivers across northeast Wisconsin could face slick pavement and reduced visibility this afternoon as rain and gusty winds move in.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is likely after 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 20, with sustained northeast winds between 15 and 18 mph and gusts up to 32 mph. I-43 and I-41 could become trouble spots during the evening commute, especially near Green Bay and Ashwaubenon.

Rain chances climb to 70% by Tuesday night, with new rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch expected. East winds will stay strong, and road conditions may worsen overnight. While storms are not expected to be severe, drivers should slow down and keep headlights on in low visibility areas.

By Wednesday, May 21, a 50% chance of lingering showers continues into the morning. Winds will shift from the northeast to the north and remain breezy. Temperatures will peak in the mid-50s before gradually clearing by nightfall.
