According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, the first wave of showers could begin after 8 a.m. Monday, but the main risk for thunderstorms and heavy rain will develop after 9 p.m. South winds will strengthen through the day, reaching 17 to 22 mph in the evening, with gusts possibly topping 31 mph.
Brown County and surrounding areas, including De Pere and Ashwaubenon, could experience downed branches, slick roads, and brief power outages. Drivers are urged to avoid flooded roadways and secure outdoor items ahead of the storms. Monday night’s low is expected around 55°F, with showers likely continuing into early Tuesday before clearing.
Wind advisories may be issued if gusts intensify. The next round of rain is expected Wednesday night into Thursday, with a 50% to 60% chance of showers lingering through midweek.
