Milwaukee, Wisconsin – A breezy Monday across Wisconsin will give way to late showers and a renewed risk of frost, especially along the Kettle Moraine and central counties by Monday night.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan, winds will shift eastward on Monday, gusting up to 25 mph by nightfall. A 30% chance of rain develops after sunset, followed by overnight lows in the mid-40s. While not freezing, the combination of damp air and radiational cooling could push some sheltered rural areas near frost thresholds, particularly across east-central and central Wisconsin counties such as Dodge, Jefferson, and Fond du Lac.

The region’s weather outlook, which spans from Marquette to Kenosha, indicates no significant hazards through Saturday. However, cooler-than-normal temperatures and multiple rounds of rain will define the week. Tuesday brings an 80% chance of showers and wind gusts as high as 30 mph. Rain remains likely Tuesday night, with a 70% chance of continued precipitation and gusts near 25 mph.

Drivers using major routes like Highway 45 or I-94 should plan for reduced visibility and slippery conditions Monday night into Tuesday morning.

Looking ahead, light showers may linger into Wednesday morning before skies clear midweek. Daytime highs will range from the low to mid-50s through Wednesday before rebounding into the 60s Thursday and Friday. Spring temperatures are expected to return heading into next weekend, with mostly sunny skies by Saturday.

Warnings remain possible if frost thresholds are met overnight Monday into Tuesday. Stay tuned to NWS updates for developing advisories.
