Wisconsin Weather Alert: Dense Fog and Weekly Forecast

La Crosse, WI – Areas of dense fog have developed across central Wisconsin this morning, reducing visibility to half a mile or less. Drivers are urged to slow down and use low-beam headlights to navigate safely. The National Weather Service (NWS) in La Crosse issued the advisory early Monday.

According to the NWS, the dense fog is expected to impact the morning commute, particularly in low-lying areas and near bodies of water. Motorists should allow extra time for travel and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles.

Today’s high will reach 87°F with a 55% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Tuesday will see partly cloudy skies and a high of 80°F, with overnight lows around 66°F. By Wednesday, expect sunny conditions with a high of 76°F and a low of 60°F.

The clear and sunny weather will continue into Thursday and Friday, with highs of 77°F and 80°F respectively. Lows will be in the mid-50s to upper 50s. The weekend forecast predicts a high of 79°F on Saturday with partly cloudy skies.
