Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Drivers across southeast Wisconsin may face limited visibility early Tuesday as dense fog clings to roads including I-94 and Highway 41. Commuters should allow extra travel time and keep headlights on low beam. A warming trend follows, but conditions turn unstable again by late week.

According to the National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan, patchy dense fog is expected to develop overnight and linger into early Tuesday morning. Visibility could drop to near zero in some areas of Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Kenosha counties. The fog will clear by mid-morning, giving way to sunny skies and unseasonably warm temperatures in the upper 70s.

By Thursday afternoon, a cold front will move into southern Wisconsin, bringing a slight chance of isolated thunderstorms, especially between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. The storm potential continues into Friday, with rainfall totals expected to remain light but localized street flooding can’t be ruled out in urban areas.

Residents are urged to monitor changing weather conditions and check local alerts, especially if traveling along major interstates like I-94 and I-43 during peak fog hours.

The rest of the week remains mild with temperatures hovering near 80°F through midweek. Overnight lows will stay in the low 60s, making for comfortable evenings before storms roll in later.
