Green Bay, Wisconsin – Thunderstorms could soak parts of Green Bay by early Friday afternoon, bringing a 60% chance of showers and possible lightning that may impact drivers along I-41 and slow down evening plans.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, Friday’s weather starts off partly sunny with highs near 84°F, but scattered thunderstorms are likely after 1 p.m. South winds will blow between 5 to 9 mph, helping fuel unstable air and prompting storm development through Friday evening.

Residents should avoid outdoor activities during peak storm hours and secure loose outdoor items. Travel could be affected during the late afternoon commute, especially on wet roads around Brown and Outagamie counties.

Storm chances linger into Saturday with another round of afternoon thunderstorms possible. Saturday’s high reaches 82°F before skies begin clearing by nightfall. Sunday looks clear and calmer, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low 80s—perfect for outdoor plans or hitting the lake.

Next week kicks off warm. Monday brings sunshine and a high of 87°F, while Tuesday continues the summer heat with a high near 85°F. Thunderstorm chances return Tuesday night (40%) and increase to 50% on Wednesday, with temperatures dropping to the upper 70s.

Prepare for changing conditions early next week. Stay weather-aware and check for updated alerts as Wednesday storms could affect midweek travel and outdoor events.
