Green Bay, Wisconsin – Highs in the 80s will return Thursday across northeast Wisconsin, but afternoon storms could interrupt outdoor plans and slow traffic along I-41 by late day.

According to the National Weather Service in Green Bay, a 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms will develop after 1 p.m. Thursday, with partly sunny skies early in the day and temperatures climbing near 80°F. Winds will stay calm before picking up slightly from the southeast.

Friday brings a similar setup, but with more confidence in rain: showers are likely Friday night, especially after 1 a.m., with a 60% chance of precipitation and the possibility of a thunderstorm. Saturday remains unsettled, with a 40% chance of showers and storms in Green Bay and surrounding areas including De Pere, Ashwaubenon, and Howard. Saturday’s high will hover near 82°F.

Residents are encouraged to delay mowing, grilling, or long drives until Sunday if possible. Use caution on wet roads and secure outdoor items ahead of storms.

Skies will clear Saturday night into Sunday, which looks to be the pick of the weekend: sunny with a high of 84°F.

The summer pattern continues into next week. Monday and Tuesday will each see a 20% chance of storms with highs nearing 86–87°F. Expect muggy air and mostly sunny afternoons, ideal for pools but less so for power crews or outdoor workers.

Storm chances remain scattered through early next week — stay weather-aware.
